Good Practices

Around the World

Here, selected universities and organizations report on how they are dealing with the future skills turn, which future skills will be important in the future and how they are promoting them among their students and employees.

The 42 Learning Model in Germany

A software engineering school without professors or teachers? This is basically how you could describe the 42 schools, originally from France and now located in different countries. Here, a radically new way of self-determined study is put into practice – without schedules, professors or grades. In the chapter “May the Code Be with You: The 42 Learning Model in Germany” of the edited volume “Creating the University of the Future”, editors Ulf-Daniel Ehlers and Laura Eigbrecht discuss the fascinating 42 pedagogical approach and its link to Future Skills learning with Max Senges, former director of 42 Wolfsburg and Berlin.
