Design Thinking-Kompetenz bezieht sich auf die Fähigkeit, konkrete und kreative Lösungen für Organisationen, Abläufe oder Produkte zu entwickeln, die in besonderer Weise Stakeholder bereits im Prozess integrieren und deren Bedürfnisse berücksichtigen. Neben konkreten methodischen Skills geht es dabei auch darum, ziel- und ergebnisoffene Methoden für Kernprozesse in der Organisationsentwicklung in die Organisationskultur zu integrieren. Design Thinking-Kompetenz wird in einem von 17 Future Skill-Profilen beschrieben, die im Rahmen der NextSkills-Studie erarbeitet wurden.

Design-thinking Competence refers to an individual’s ability to develop concrete and creative solutions for organisations, processes or products that integrate stakeholders in the process and take their needs into account in a special way. In addition to concrete methodological skills, this Future Skill Profile is also concerned with integrating open-ended methods for core processes in the development and internal management of Future Organisations into the organisational culture. It is described in one of 17 Future Skills Profiles which have been reconstructed in the NextSkills Studies.
